Pulmonary drug delivery is essential for the treatment of conditions like asthma and COPD, and it can revolutionise many other therapy areas including oncology, pain management, and immunisation. Delivering drug via the lungs has many advantages over parenteral and oral administration.

However, respiratory drug delivery has not been able to deliver on this promise. Existing devices on the market are often imprecise, and not easy to use correctly. Innovation has been too slow and the performance of inhalers on the market is inconsistent across patient groups, especially when many patients have compromised lung function. 

We offer the global pharmaceutical industry the next generation of DPIs, which will enable them to bring new therapies to patients.

We provide device platforms that are highly effective and consistent, and are suitable for every stage of drug development to deployment. Our DPI platforms consistently deliver industry-leading performance, can be manufactured cost-effectively, and are easy to use for patients, overcoming limitations around compromised lung function.

These technologies will lead a new era for respiratory medicine, where devices will consistently deliver a high percentage of formulation to the patient’s deep lung.

Each of our inhaler platforms is based around a core engine, enabling it to be designed into a range of device form factors, including single use, reusable, and multi-unit dose.

Because each core engine delivers robust and consistent performance, irrespective of its embodiment, pharmaceutical companies are able to use a single inhaler platform through development, testing, trials and launch. This reduces the risks associated with drug product development, as pharmacos can be certain that what they are seeing in the lab will match the real world when it is in the hand of a patient.

We license our inhaler platforms to pharmaceutical companies who then use them through the later stages of drug development, through all phases of clinical trials, and then into the hands of patients.

Once tuned to our customer's formulation, the core engine is locked down. The outer form factor can then be adapted as needed, enabling us to quickly develop Phase I clinical devices and seamlessly progress to Phase II and Phase III device development, while maintaining consistent performance.
